KENTUCKY ADVENTURE

CREATION MUSEUM, RENFRO VALLEY, SHAKER VILLAGE

August 5th – 8th, 2014

We had a great time in Kentucky!  We spent an afternoon at the Creation Museum where we toured the exhibits, visited the beautiful garden and even rode on a camel!   The city of Berea was charming and everyone enjoyed the walking tour around Berea Collage followed by a yummy lunch at the Amish store.   A visit to Levi Jackson State Park and the amazingly beautiful Cumberland Falls Park were the highlights of our outdoor tours.  Lunch one day at Colonial Sanders original “Kentucky Fried Chicken” restaurant, Sanders Cafe, was a great photo-op hit!   Evenings were spent at Renfro Valley listening to music.  We also toured the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame.  On our way home, we toured the Shaker Village and learned how they lived oh so long ago….  The Grand Finale was a memorable home cooked, made from scratch, delicious lunch at Shaker Tavern!  Please enjoy our photo memories!
