DAY 1 Arrive New York City
Welcome to New York City. Check in to your hotel and head out on your own for an afternoon of discovering the city.

Take a bite out of the Big Apple on an orientation tour of the city. View the towering Empire State Building, pulsating Times Square and grand Central Park. Travel on to the City of Brotherly Love and visit the Liberty Bell Center. View Independence Hall, site of the signing of the Declaration of  Independence, before traveling on to Washington, D.C., the nation’s capital. This evening enjoy a dinner in the capital city.

DAY 3 Washington, D.C. Sightseeing and Free Time EAST COAST white-house
View the White House, the U.S. Capitol Building, the Lincoln Memorial, and the World War II and Vietnam War memorials
with a Local Specialist. Enjoy the remainder of the day.

DAY 4 Washington, D.C. – Lancaster County/Amish Country

Depart Lancaster County and journey across Pennsylvania into the eastern corner of New York. Make a stop at the Corning Museum of Glass and see more than 35 centuries of
glass artistry in the galleries. Later, arrive in Canada at the majestic Niagara Falls.

DAY 6 Niagara Falls Sightseeing and Free Time
EAST COAST niagara-fallsSet out on an exhilarating boat ride to the base of Spectacular Horseshoe Falls. Enjoy some free time to explore on your own before traveling on to Niagara-on-the-Lake.

DAY 7 Niagara Falls – Toronto  EAST COAST Toronto (002)
Arrive on the shores of the Great Lake Ontario and cosmopolitan Toronto today and set out for an orientation tour of the city. There is time to explore on your own this afternoon.  Meal(s): Breakfast

DAY 8 Toronto – Ottawa  EAST COAST Ottawa_-_ON_-_Library_of_Parliament
Travel to Ottawa, Canada’s stately capital.
Enjoy an introductory tour of the city, including the elegant buildings of Parliament Hill, Rideau Hall, the residence of the Governor General of Canada and the beautiful downtown galleries and museums.

DAY 9 Ottawa – Quebec CityEAST COAST quebeccity
Bid adieu to Ottawa this morning. Set off for Quebec City and Old Quebec. You’ll feel as if you’ve just set foot into Old Europe. Tonight, enjoy a Regional Meal at a local Restaurant.

DAY 10 Quebec City Sightseeing and Free Time
Explore Quebec City’s historic sites with your
Local Specialist. Learn about the city’s French and English military past at the fortified Citadel and the Plains of Abraham, the site of a major colonial battle. This afternoon, enjoy some free time to explore on your own.

DAY 11 Quebec City – Montreal EAST COAST MONTREAL
Arrive in Montreal where your Local Specialist introduces you to the city, including the spectacular Notre-Dame Basilica, the colorful port area and Place Jacques-Cartier, epicenter of the old city. This evening, head for the woods atop Mont Rigaud and “Sucrerie de la Montagne,” an authentic sugar shack officially designated as a Quebec Heritage Site. Learn all about maple syrup including the extraction process and production. Try a “wapiti”, a typical Quebecois aperitif, followed by an authentic feast, served family style as you enjoy live local folk music.

DAY 12 Montreal – Franconia Notch – Boston
Cross back into the United States. Traverse New Hampshire on your way to Franconia Notch in the heart of the White Mountains. Arrive in Boston at your hotel.

DAY 13 Boston Sightseeing and Free Time  Fall 2015 cruise Faneuil market
Discover Boston’s rich history, from the Old North Church to Boston Harbor and along the Freedom Trail with a tour of the city. This afternoon, continue your exploration as you
please. This evening, toast your trip and your newfound friends at a Farewell Dinner.

DAY 14
This morning, say farewell to “The City on a Hill”. A transfer is provided to Boston Logan International Airport or choose to extend your stay in Boston.
